The next film will be FIREBRAND - starring Jude Law, Alicia Vikand - it looks great; the trailer is fabulous! It will be shown on 28th November
Tickets on sale now.
In blood-soaked Tudor England, twice married, accomplished, and educated Katherine Parr (Alicia Vikander), reluctantly agrees to become the sixth wife of the tyrannical King Henry VIII (Jude Law). Her consent to marry him carries great personal risk, given that her predecessors are either vanquished, beheaded, or dead. When Henry appoints her as Regent, the nation's ruler during his absence when he departs to fight overseas, he lays a dangerous path for her. Henry's courtiers, suspecting she's sympathetic to radical Protestant beliefs that have taken root in the kingdom and are a threat to their power, scheme against her and cast doubts upon her fidelity to the increasingly ailing and paranoid King. Once Henry returns to England, all hell lets loose and Katherine finds herself under ever-increasing scrutiny and suspicion. Knowing that even a whisper of scandal might lead to her downfall, Katherine must unleash her own scheme to fight for survival!Published on 13 November 2024.

Our regular monthly films return on Thursday 26th September at Hapstead Hall with Fly Me To The Moon
Many thanks to all who joined us last week for another fun movie night out with Ardingly Films, following our summer break! Fly Me To The Moon - starred Scarlett Johansson, Channing Tatum, Jim Rash, Ray Romano, and Woody Harrelson. It was a stylish romantic comedy set against the high-stakes backdrop of NASA's historic Apollo 11 moon landing. Brought in to fix NASA's public image, sparks fly in all directions as marketing maven Kelly Jones (Johansson) wreaks havoc on launch director Cole Davis's (Tatum) already difficult task. When the White House deems the mission too important to fail, the countdown truly begins!
